POST 4: what you ate today/ POST 5: your definition of love
You’re darn right I’m doing 2! I’ve been slacking off. only cause, well actually I have no true real excuse. ANYWAY
What I ate today. (first let me say, when I chose to do these I was all “yah im going to make this all interesting and take pictures and then post them and make them make sense.. ya NOT HAPPENING! maybe eventually)
Today I had three meals! woot woot! breakfast I had eggs and rice :) Lunch I had a Bento Box. suushiii what what. And for dinner we had salmon! What a good day for food. I also had like 7 handfulls of smart pop. MAN that stuff is good. Popcorn is like my favorite food next to cheesecake. I dont know if that count as a food. Welp it does to me!

love. I shared a bit of what love is to me.
If you know me at all just picture me wrapped up in a blanket listening to slowjams by katy perry and dim mood lighting on my bed. I just took a huge breath. and just sighed..
love is love. It’s what we ALL want, we all want to be loved, we could long for love from our parents, our friends, our siblings, are boyfriends or girlfriends, just people. We long to be loved by others. It’s why we give in to pressure. It’s why we see little 12 year old girls with boyfriends?!? It’s why we put make up on in the morning and work out every waking moment of the day. We want love.
And why not? Why not want to be loved? Why not crave it? Why not long for it?
Love is when you’re the most broken and ugly and alone. Then someone comes along and tells you that you’ll be okay. They say you’re beautiful just the way you are. They look into your eyes and say you’re never alone because I will always always be here for you.
That’s what love is.
That’s what love is in the world we live in.
Then there’s a love that died for you and me. There’s a love that longs to be your friend and wants you to know who you are and the potential that you have. God is Love. We know that we see it everywhere. God is love. What is that suppose to me? God is love?
When you encounter the kind of love that God has for you, It’s enough. It’s so enough that there’s no need to go searching for love anywhere else. There’s only one thing that could make you feel like there’s no need to impress or be anything you aren’t and that’s love himself.
It’s not easy to trust in something you can’t see. Believe me, I know. All there is to do is let him love you and be aware of the love around you.
But I also know how it feels to really know. And letting that slip away has become one of the scariest things I’ve done. But I know when that feeling comes back, which it will, I wont let it go.
